I see that my MacBook Pro has made it as far as Anchorage this morning, after more than two weeks in a misadventure that began with a botched pickup, delivery to an Apple repair center in Houston right after Hurricane Ike, repair under generator power, and a host of other clusterfucks. You bet I'll be playing hooky from work tonight. Thank heavens for cloned system backups.
