Alaska tourist item.

We're shopping at Fred Meyer. 'Tis the tourist season.

New prose by Don Cole.

Driving?

I use to drive 5 or 6 days a week and work all the holidays. I found 1 in 5 are good and the escapees from the family ratio is way too high. I listened on and on to that shit. Some of it was even mine. I slept in a tent in the summer never paying rent, saving for a trip. Janet and I where on the way to fuck in my tent at Eagle Cab the night they were raided. I came around the Front St. corner and kept right on going. The King Cab drivers did loops around the block and heckled Don in his handcuffs. As it turned out he was just warming up to running them into the ground. The next day I pulled into Midtown to drop off and the the little kids ran out and sang "Bad boys, bad boys, what ya gonna do?"

10.5.3 released.

Waited a day to install it on both Macs. Both seem stable and snappier, and Address Book can finally sync with Google and Exchange. Use the whopping-big combo updater on Apple's support site to be safe (instead of Software Update), and do a backup first.

How demagogues make money.

Anybody else remember this Republican sleazebag selling us on the war and resigning in 2006? He was Bush's Press Secretary. Now you can buy his book, too. I'll sure set aside some gas money for that.

AT&T offers no insurance on iPhone.

Had to get a replacement phone after total submersion in the Chena River last night after a rafting accident. One would think that if a customer signed a two-year contract, the customer would get a break on a new phone, with some insurance. No such luck. FYI.

Dave Bird saved my life last night.

Literally. I won't forget it, 'nuff said.
